City’s Mobile Office heads to Bishop Lavis and Strand this week
05 March 2025
The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be availing municipal services at the Bishop Lavis Civic Centre on Thursday, 6 March and the Lwandle Community Hall on Friday, 7 March 2025. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that will be on offer during these community visits.
The details are as follows:
• Thursday, 6 March 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Bishop Lavis Civic Centre, Lenton Drive, Bishop Lavis
• Friday, 7 March 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Lwandle Community Hall, 21801 Vulindlela Road, Lwandle, Strand
The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide-range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
‘We are bringing the City’s services closer to Bishop Lavis and Lwandle residents to ensure that no time and money is spent on transport. This is a special opportunity to resolve any municipal items that residents have wanted to address. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer, do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process. In Lwandle, we will also be doing a City App demonstration to ensure that community members can log their service requests remotely,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
